The coracobrachialis is one of 3 muscles in the anterior compartment of the arm. The other two muscles are the biceps brachii and the brachialis.

Origin

Apex of coracoid process

Insertion

Medial side of proximal shaft of humerus

Action

Adduction of the humerus

Flexion of the arm at the glenohumeral joint

Innervation

Musculocutaneous nerve (C5, C6, and C7)

Blood Supply

Brachial artery
